Help Keep Our Birch Foundation Community Van on the Road

Every Monday and Wednesday, our volunteers use the van to support around 80 people across Surfers and Southport. The van is used to provide clothing, basic essentials and practical support to people doing it tough. It also supports our community outreach programs, transports donations, picks up donated goods, and helps us attend fundraising and community events. Simply put, we can't do what we do without this van.

Recently, our van underwent a mechanical inspection, which identified several urgent repairs, including work to the drive belt, suspension, air conditioning and other essential components to keep it safe and reliable on the road. The total repair costs are estimated at around $5,000.

The good news is the van is still running, but it now needs urgent repairs before these issues become more serious and take it off the road.

As a small charity, we simply don't have the funds to cover these unexpected costs. That's why we're aiming to raise $3,000 to help complete the most urgent repairs and keep our van serving the community.
